MS started blocking the driver used by this form of DRM when theyy released Win10, but MS couldn't be bothered including an honest error message with Win10, so this 'run as admin' pops up. Hi Boss, My Microsoft Train Simulator was supplied on disc but due to simple patches available from the like of UKTRAINSIM.COM, STEAM4ME, Trainsim.com, all have the no disc patch so you don't even have to have the CD in the drive getting hot and distorted. I have run MSTS for quite a few years on Vista but with ageing hardware have had to buy new with only windows 7 or 8.1 available with a free update to 10 later. Since Windows 10 I have not been able to install MSTS with many and various problems apart from running as Administrator which isn't so much of a problem with only one mouse click, if it works.
