By Anonymous A good idea that was poorly executed. Probably the worst emulator I have ever come across. Does a terrible job at keeping a steady fra me rate and not only this but video rendering quality is awful, regardless of the program's plugin settings.

After digging deep online for the user manual, I consulted it to adjust the program's plugin settings accordingly to increase performance (do to the constant lag, which rendered any game unplayable) although this had very little impact across 15 different games. I know it's not the fault of my system (Intel i7-3630 @2.4GHz, w/hyperthreading; 16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM; Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 w/ 2GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory) as I have a very good system that will run most modern games at ultra settings with at least a steady 40fps (Alien Isolation, for example runs at 50+fps when the graphics are set as high as they can go).

The program's communication with the hardware must be faulty or poorly programmed (probably both). It is a good thing this product is freeware, as I would be hard pressed to pay money for it. It seems it was designed to work on only one (or few) individual systems. Not to mention all the work the user has to do to set this program up properly (and even then it will not run well, even with your GPU selected as the main renderer) which turns many people off. After trying combination after combination after combination of different settings in an attempt to try to get this program to run well on my computer with a steady frame rate, I have concluded that it is pointless to download this software and users are much better advised to just buy a PS2 and any desired games from eBay.
