The uninstallation of the old version of the Olympus Master is a different story. After several unsuccessful attempts I worked out the following procedure and was able to uninstall the old version (Olympus Master v.1.41) • Install Olympus Master 2.0, It will install as “Olympus Master 2”.• Plug in the camera and make certain you can see it on the PC.• Unplug the camera leave the USB cable connected.• Copy olympusmaster.msi and Data1.cab into C: Windows Installer from the installation CD of Olympus Master 1.41 (or earlier version).• Open “Program and Features” You will see Olympus Master and Olympus Master 2 as two separate applications. Andrejmart January 11, 2008 update I am ruining Windows Vista 32 and building a new PC that will run Windows Vista 64X. OLYMPUS Master is not supported in Vista 64X environment. I was informed by OLYMPUS that there is no plan to offer Vista 64X version of the Master.
